When Perception Meets Reality: How Moral Metaperceptions Shape Intergroup Relations in Political Divides

Presented research examining how people believe political outgroups evaluate their moral values and how these metaperceptions shape intergroup relationships. The project combines computational analysis of more than 10 million tweets with three experimental studies and an intervention testing whether correcting inaccurate metaperceptions changes trust and perceived threat.
